It starts off with a conversation so that we can get a deep understanding of your business... and your competitors​. Research is fundamental to a good branding exercise. For over 20 years I have been working with businesses large and small finding out what makes them unique and then strategically ensuring their story is told with beauty and intelligence across every touchpoint.

  • How does it work?
    We can meet via zoom, on a call or in person (socially distanced of course ;-) to get an idea of who you are and your business objectives. ​ you work directly with the designer so there are no chinese whispers. I always thoroughly research the brands already established within your industry or sector​ and talk with you to find out how you want to do things differently. The initial call will gauge whats involved, our chemistry, the industry sector, and broad requirements so I give a clear and fair quote. This way you know what to expect from me and things can start with with clarity.
  • What phases of work can I expect?
    Intro call :An initial free consultation and chemistry meeting Phase 1 exploration : I take all the information you've provided about your company, do some desk-based market research, research design trends, draw on 20 years of experience, think, draw, design, and create a range of completely bespoke logo concepts. Feedback & amends : You are always an important part of the process and help shape your logo. Your opinion matters so it's important to ensure you feel a part of the process. Sometimes people only know what they want when they have something personal to look at and critique. I understand that and work with my clients to ensure that they are happy so we have another chat and further clarification if required.
  • How much does it cost?
    After talking to you about your organisation's specific requirements in the initial free consulation, I'll provide you with a detailed proposal document outlining all the costs involved. As every client and business are so different, it's very difficult for me to provide a set fee. Rest assured the quote is competitive with the market and you will have exceptional and personal service.
  • What formats do you supply my logo in?
    I work with Adobe Creative Cloud and can happy to provide you with your finished logo files in all of the most common formats to give you the freedom to work with other suppliers should you need. Each branding project when completed results in a comprehensive package for all your digital, film and print needs. We recommend using .AI, .PDF or .EPS files for print projects and .PNGs or .SVGs and jpgs on the web but happy to supply less common formats so just et me know.
  • What is a brand guidelines document and do I need one?
    A guidelines document also known as brand style guide, brand book or brand guide acts as a key document that helps content creators communicate a consistent message to your audience, so it's a great asset for creating consistent, on-brand content. Your brand style guide communicates your company's design standards to your whole ​organisation​. To put it another way, it shows future designers, signmakers, copywriters, marketers and social media managers how your logo, colours, typefaces, photography and illustrations should be used consistently for the greatest effect. You'll want one if you plan to market your brand across more than one platform and if it is important that your brand is ​consistent across multiple platforms and media. Each branding exercise is completed with a brand guidelines document including a range of design assets, colour breakdowns, fonts, and guidelines for imagery.
