I met Simon on a beach in Galicia, Spain. We connected over a shared love of freedom, #vanlife, surfing and the great outdoors. It was post lockdown in the summer of 2020 and the world had changed. He had been working at McLaren on high-end track cars but the races had stopped. Simon decided he was going to take his love of mechanics, vans and start a custom van company to cater to this growing market. This friendly approachable way of doing business permeates through everything we do in both of our businesses so it was a great match.
I was happy to get involved and help Simon and his partner James create a professional, inspiring brand, develop his digital presence as well as create his merchandise. Utilising some beautiful photography that captures the spirit of vanlife and a slick website, strong SEO and social media integration the Vantage team were over the moon with my work. We are now expanding the business to incorporate an eCommerce platform selling beautifully crafted CNC milled custom van kits catering to the VW t5/t6 market.
The business is growing exponentially and has seen thousands of new visitors visit his social channels and new orders lining up well into the new year.
